The cottages are located in beautiful, quiet surroundings. The host was very nice. We stayed in the studio apartment, which was furnished very well. All facilities available, including cooker, microwave, fridge and cooking utensils.
This was all badly let down by the cleanliness. The beds were not clean, dusty bed sheets and duvet. Lots of cobwebs in the property, those by the plates under the sink and next to microwave caught our attention more, though the mouldy cup of tea in the microwave really stood out. The host said she would talk to the cleaner though these are your basics.

Owner did not coordinate things very well and the houses could have been cleaner. There was no internet in one of the cottages and she expected my family to set it up.

Overall very disappointed and very expensive. Book at the riverside hotel, with better accommodations and better set up for people visiting out of town

Did the job for a few days. Clean and lovely surroundings. I did make my own breakfast every morning. Unfortunately the wind bought down a local tree and was in darkness for one evening.

Not recommended. Stayed in the studio which has good facilities (sink, oven, washing machine) but as others say on here cleanliness is poor and no toiletries (other than hand wash) or washing up liquid provided. There is a pub just down the road which is convenient if you want a drink but some of the clientele decided to stand outside on the road and have a very loud discussion at midnight for half an hour which woke us all. Would not choose to return.

Wonderful beautiful place. Set in a lovely quiet road. Couldn't do enough for us. And wow the cleanest I've seen in such a long time

We stayed for 2 days and it was great, friendly owners, nice cooking facilities & very comfy beds, we'd definitely stay again.

Reasonably priced accommodation but the bathrooms in the lodge next to the house would be difficult if you are taller than six feet

Amazing cosy little place! Me and my boyfriend stayed there for a few days and we loved it! Sian, the woman who owns the place was very helpful and couldn’t have been anymore nicer. Was a bit expensive, but above all. It was a lovely stay and comfy beds!
