Outstanding guest house with exceptionally clean and comfortable, spacious and well equipped rooms. The breakfast menu is excellent and the food very tasty. However, it's the hosts, Sue and Andy, who had that special something. They are very welcoming and caring, accommodating all needs and nothing is too much trouble.

The establishment is top of the line clean, neat, and well-respected in it's care. A library of both books and movies are available for the guests, complimentary. Breakfast is made to order, served at the time of your choosing.
Even better, the owners are fast to become friends, caring more about you as a person than the money in your pocket. It most certainly a business, but money is handled discreetly and comfort/hospitality pushed to the front.
You will enjoy your stay, sleep well and enjoy the space. It is a 10 on a 5 star scale.

Outstanding B&B. Spotlessly clean, lovely & warm Room with plenty teas & coffees, fresh milk provided in a bottle, unlike milk jiggers in many other B&Bs. Andy & Sue are lovely hosts & made you feel at home. Superb Breakfast served fresh & hot. Definitely stay here again whenever around this area. 5 ⭐ Luxury Accomodation.

Over more than two years we have stayed at this B&B once a month for one or two nights and each visit has never failed to please. The hosts Andy and Sue have the perfect mix of professionalism and friendliness. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable with lovely en suite showers, always with lots of hot water. They provide good linen and towels and everywhere is impeccably clean. There is a good choice of breakfasts and they are cooked and presented to the high standard the owners set themselves in all aspects of running their business. Highly recommended!

Welcoming host and hostess, lovely house, great room, excellent shower and bathroom. The professional finish runs through from the fixtures, fittings and hard and soft furnishings to the trim of the garden, bedding, refreshments and breakfast (which was spot on). One day my home kitchen will look very like their kitchen.

Best b& b we've stayed in for ages. So much thought has gone in to ensure visitors' comfort. Andy's breakfasts were excellent and Sue is a great hostess. Could not fault it in any way. Will return.

Fantastic stay at The Pretty Maid. The owners Sue and Andy made us feel so welcome and have a wicked sense of humour. Bedroom spotlessly clean, tea coffee, TV portholes for computer etc. Fabulous full English breakfast 😋
