Stayed May 2015 as part of a short cycling tour. Very comfy rooms, nicely furnished bathroom, excellent breakfast (Sharon made us porridge to help us over Gospel pass) and above all very friendly and helpful. Even included tea and cake when we arrived. Highly recommended.

A true welcome in the hills , and first class everything!
Really wanted to to keep this place a secret but that would be rather selfish . Such lovely, generous hosts here and immaculate , comfortable rooms . We had all that we needed and there were so many extra little touches which made us feel so at home this week. In particular the freshly cut flowers from the garden which were changed every couple of days as well as a host of teas , coffee and bedtime drinks , biscuits and bottled water ( replenished each day ) to cater for ourselves whenever we wanted to. Bathrobes and toiletries too , and more than ample storage. The breakfasts were delicious , varied and whatever we wanted , and there was always a homemade twist on offer to try each morning too . We were at the Hay festival for our stay there with family and friends, and it really was the perfect place for this. Our short walks each day to and from the festival ground across the glorious surrounding countryside , and our starlit returns , were a highlight. As were the freshly made slices of cake or muffins we were encouraged to take with us as we headed out for the day . A real find and not to be missed . Thank you so much .We will definitely be back.

Had an absolutely lovely stay here with the family. We had two great rooms, one for the two kids, and one for ourselves and it was perfect. The rooms had everything a five star hotel would have, but with even better tea and coffee kits. Herbal teabags, variety of biscuits and all sorts. Think the kids had a mid night feast :-). The breakfast was superb, the hosts friendly and funny) . And the best for last we had a beautiful slice of apple cake and tea on arrival..very spoilt! Thank you Sharon and David, we will be back!

We stayed here overnight on 19 May 2018 whilst doing the Offa’s Dyke walk. Warm welcome, lovely room, comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast. Wonderful home baking and delightful hosts!

We were warmly welcomed here when we started our stint from Hay on the Offa's Dyke Path and we came back at the end for one night . Very generous and friendly with added touches which made for a memorable and happy stay.

A very well run B&B, clean and bright rooms, great selection of toiletries and teas. The breakfast was outstanding and I really appreciated the genuine care and attention that every customer receives. It's a short and scenic walk into town from here, through beautiful countryside.

Such a lovely place, only 15 minute walk across the fields to Hay on Wye, immaculately clean and a delicious breakfast. I'll definitely stay again.
