We stayed for 3 nights and could not have been happier with everything. It is beautifully decorated with lots if vases of fresh flowers. The breakfasts were outstanding and so delicious and the staff were so friendly and accomodating. All in all perfect.

This is one of many little gems in the East Sussex town of Rye . A really lovely place to have an afternoon cream tea or a very yummy Breakfast as we did, I had the Eggs Benedict which I can say is superb. There is an extension out the back which overlooks part of Rye across the marshes and is the place to sit if you can . Booking a seat may be the best option as it’s very popular. There are rooms available to stay there although I have not seen them but I can imagine it’s a great place to stay as Rye is itself a Wonder of the East Sussex region 😎 hope you enjoy the pics x

My sister and I booked a table yesterday, and it was the beautiful balcony seat. So lovely! I had a very delicious cheese and pesto tarte and my sister had a yummy Welsh Rarebit. Gorgeous home- made coleslaw! The staff were so lovely and helpful. I highly recommend Haydens! 🙂

Can't comment on rooms as didn't stop over. Brunch was lovely, 5 of us ate, and the service was good, portion sizes also good but not too much. Hot and tasty. Would definately recommend.

Had an extremely annoying experience today because we ordered coffee for adults and when asked if they can also do a babycchino, the waiter said yes they can, but they haven't got it on the till "so will proably put it through as water". In the end got charged 3.50 per babycchino (and listed as babycchino on the bill too), so the adult drinks were cheaper than the baby drinks that in many places is completely free. What a rip off, I wish I had refused to pay at the time

Was looking for a quick bite yesterday(Sunday) and our choices were limited. We stumbled across Hayden’s and what a lovely surprise, the food was first class as was the service. Hayden’s will now become first choice for food when visiting Rye.

Quality breakfast, good coffee. Possibly one of the best quality english breakfast around. 1st class produce was clear. Excellent

We weren't staying but had a lovely meal there. This is the second time we've been and enjoyed it both times.
