Chapel Cottage

A super B&B. A warm welcome, especially in the snow! Our room was warm, stylish and spotless. The bed was enormous and so comfy. Great wholesome breakfast. We would highly recommend. Thank you to our hosts, Philip & Theresa.

Absolutely fabulous! Everything you could possibly need (right down to cotton buds and cotton pads for removing makeup), the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and lovely friendly hosts! We arrived for a wedding at the start of the Jubilee weekend. Theresa immediately invited us to join her at a party at the local village hall. Such a fabulous spread (including Philip's version of the Jubilee pudding) and all the locals made us feel very welcome! We stayed for 3 nights and felt really at home. I had been a bit dubious about staying in a B&B, sharing someone's home but Theresa and Philip made us so welcome and I felt very relaxed and like nothing was too much trouble , I would definitely choose to stay there again! Philip whips up a rather spectacular breakfast too - delicious! If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area, I'd really recommend you give them a call.

Philip and Theresa were wonderful hosts! They went above and beyond to cater to our vegan diet, serving us a delicious breakfast and treats in our room! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We booked all 4 rooms for 2 nights whist in the area for a wedding. All bedrooms were lovely particularly the main room my wife and I occupied. The hospitality was great and the breakfast was top drawer. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I stopped overnight last Saturday/ Sunday when attending a wedding in nearby Clitheroe (4 miles ) The welcome was warm as we were shown to our good sized room with a large very comfy bed and a spacious bathroom. We hadn't long arrived when Theresa brought up a very welcome piping hot pot of tea. Theresa also kindly booked the taxis that we needed. After a lovely evening at the wedding, we returned to Chapel Cottage for a good night's sleep. Before leaving on Sunday morning we really enjoyed and highly recommend their freshly cooked breakfast.

Chapel Cottage is a beautiful gem with lovely homely hosts Theresa and Philip. If you stay here you are in for a wonderful experience, from the moment you step from your car, its like home from home with a warm welcome from your hosts. The health safety precautions are first class, so you have no worries on that score. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and fitted to the highest standards with period furniture, the beds are very comfortable. The ensuite bathrooms are again fitted to the highest standards with modern suites. The breakfasts you will find no better anywhere cooked by Philip your host, a chef of many years experience aided and abetted by Theresa cooked and served in the beautiful kitchen. Your hosts are very knowledgeable of the area and helpful so don't be afraid to ask. Myself and my wife highly recommend Chapel Cottage for a unique and wonderful holiday.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding. Theresa and Philip were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble from extra duvets and pillows, to choice of breakfast time and food, the stay was perfect. Phillips breakfast was incredible, even the little details in the room were spot on. My only problem is now finding another reason to go back so I can stay again!
