Friendly local pub with an open fireplace in winter and the village green, in summer. The local beers are nice but the food menu could be better. Not a bad choice though, by any means.

Stayed on business. Exceptionally good hotel. The bed is just the right amount of soft/hard with proper supportive pillows. Plenty of hot water and soap. There is a tiny amount of road noise but it didn't bother me. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with an exceptionally good omelette. Coffee is very drinkable too. Staff can actually hold a conversation which is a nice surprise.
I will definitely request same hotel for future work visits.
