Absolutely beautiful guest house in every way..The rooms are beautiful and clean,,and have everything u need. Breakfast wow there's such a variety of food u can't go wrong or hungry lol..Andrea lady of the house is so lovely 🤗and her husband too.. Absolutely beautiful place! Can't recommend highly enough. The guest house itself is spotless, very tastefully decorated, and so comfortable. Rooms are very spacious; warm, and very well equipped. The breakfast is out of this world! Nanna nap needed afterwards! Great location too. And Andrea is extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothings too much trouble. Definitely coming again!!

This guesthouse is one of the best you will find. The location is great, almost opposite the wonderful country park for a walk to see Loch Lomond; close to CoOp and the restaurants in town. Andrea is so friendly and chatty. We slept so well, so the bed must have been comfy. The breakfast options were extensive and all of local, quality produce. The haddock and poached eggs was dreamy and the Full Scottish was hearty. We were set up well for our onward drive to Skye :)

Great rooms,and the variety on the breakfast menu is out standing ,Andrea the owner is so welcoming and has a fantastic sense of humour,we have been here for 5days and still have 2 more days and it’s been wonderful.👍😘xoxoxo

We booked a night at Gowanlea Guest House as we were passing by to reach the Highlands
Andrea is a very friendly, welcoming host that made the stay very enjoyable. We were greeting with coffee and biscuits at our arrival, which is a nice plus.
The rooms were spacious, en-suite, and had all the necessary. It was very clean and tidy.
Note that the Guest House is dog friendly, which comes with a small supplement agreed upon arrival.
Breakfast was served with local and fresh produce, and was delicious!
I warmly recommend staying there if you are around.

Great room with plenty of space. Bathroom a little on the small side, but did the job. Andrea was very welcoming and accommodating, especially with our late check in. Breakfast really was great-alot of choice and great quality, and alot of it!

Lovely welcoming host Andrea! Nice bedrooms clean and everything you need! Breakfast absolutely delicious lots of choices, have booked again for the summer!

Both myself and my partner stayed here with our dog.Andrea and John are extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms very warm but have big windows that you can open.The breakfasts are amazing. We will definitely be visiting again.
