Station House

Received a warm and friendly welcome late into the evening. Great service and food and the bedroom was really excellent. This is on the Second City Divide bike packing route at about 48 hours. Not a lot after this for quite a way so worth considering for a stopover.

First class service from Alan and Avril from start to finish. Breakfast was enjoyed by our party of 6 adults and 2 kids. Rooms were spacious exceptionally comfortable and spotless. Would def recommend this bed and breakfast.

What a fantastic place to stay. I had the best time ever. Rooms are perfect. With my job I've plenty of experience of B&B's and hotels. This place is at the top. The best night's sleep I've ever had.
Breakfast cooked personally for you. Local,wonderful produce used.
From full Scottish to amazing selection of fresh fruits & berries.
Fortunately my stay was extended. Only wish it could have been longer.
Nice to chat around the breakfast table with Alan and with my fellow guest Nicole. Never seem to get that in hotels this day and age.

Wonderful B&B in the Scottish countryside about an hour outside Edinburgh. Amazing personal service. Alan and Avril were wonderful hosts, making us and our son feel right at home and giving us great recommendations for dinner and local sites. Our rooms were spacious, very comfortable and beautifuly-decorated. Cannot recommend Station House highly enough.

We stayed at Station House during a charity cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats. We had stayed at a number of different hotels/hostels/guest houses along the way but this was, by far, our favourite. Station House is immaculately maintained by Alan who made our stay absolutely perfect. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms are the best I've seen in a long time. Alan was the perfect host - we had a delicious breakfast before setting off on the next leg of the cycle!

Very welcome hosts, we would definitely recommend this B&B, every little detail thought of, the bed was so comfy and the bathroom was lovely and exceptionaly clean, Alan took our order for breakfast which was cooked fresh and was delicious, we really appreciated Alans recommendation to book our evening meal at the Inn on the Loch, fantastic

Absolutely top quality. It was like being welcomed by family into their home. Lovely feel to the place. Definitely going back with family.

An absolutely great place to stay with delicious food and 15/10 customer service.
The room was amazing and decor was of very high standard. Alan showed us round the rest of the house and every detail was beautiful.
We've booked again for our next visit next week and really can't wait.
