Would have loved to come back! We were given a warm welcome by Lin and Tom, and enjoyed nice, clean rooms, a cozy living room, great view from our room, and a fantastic breakfast. And all within a few steps from the locks and the loch. Would have loved to have stayed longer - and would love to come back! Thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Lin & Tom are the perfect hosts, her B&B is beautiful and very comfortable. The location is ideal, close to shops and restaurants but still super quiet and peaceful. I will return immediately once I am back to the Highlands.

The room was clean and anything you could need was there. The hosts, Tom and Lin, made us feel welcome the second we walked in and were very kind. The breakfast was amazing and there was a variety of food to choose from. If you plan to go to Fort Augustus (good choice, it's beautiful there), the Lorien House B&B is a stay you definitely won't regret.

Beautiful, tastefully decorated and furnished quality accommodation. Lin and Tom, the owners, give a warm welcome and really do want to make sure their guests enjoy their stay. Excellent choice of hearty cooked breakfasts with lighter options and freshly-brewed coffee or teas. I would stay here again without hesitation. Back for a second visit and the welcome from Lin and Tom is every bit as warm as before. Rooms and public areas spotless. TV now has Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney.

I could not fault this accommodation, if I could, I would. Location is superb right by the town but not disturbed by traffic. Room was exceptionally clean, breakfast choice more than ample and great quality. Owners were very polite and informative. Highly recommended.

Delightful friendly hosts. The accomodation, community lounge. room and breakfast room is fabulously clean. we. were very well looked after. The location is also just picture perfect. Thank you will definitely be recommending to friends etc.

Lovely B and B in excellent location with superb breakfast but what makes it special are the wonderful hosts Lin and Tom who really do make you feel at home (Without any of the chores). Had two nights here but could have happily stayed longer. If we get back to Fort Augustus then I know where we will be staying. Highly recommended. Steve and Teresa

Lin & Tom immediately made us feel at home, they are so helpful and friendly and made our stay a wonderful experience. The bedrooms are comfortable with lots of added extras like ear plugs, bottled water, etc. They went the ‘extra mile’ with birthday cake and banners, making my birthday a little more special - and we’d only just met them. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and was delicious. We will definitely be staying again! Thank you Lin & Tom
