A gorgeous B&B with classic decorations, beautiful spacious rooms with comfortable beds, and a delicious breakfast. All necessities are present and taken care of, and there's a beautiful garden to relax in. Hostess was super friendly and kind, and her 2 dogs were lovely too. Delightful service overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

If you like a rural location with a town nearby then this is the place to be. Very frendly owner and nice and clean rooms. Everything is very well equipped. In just a few minutes you are in Jedburgh. A perfect stay. Thanks Sheila.

Wonderful old Mansion house, beautiful surroundings.

This Gem i have sadly missed on previous visits to Jedburgh.
Stunning location, the Gardens are lovely to walk around and sit in the Sun.
Room with twin beds was clean, comfortable & spacious. Decor throughout matched the history of this house with great character.
Sadly only an overnight stop but we will be back. I will not forget the Honey next time.

Thankyou Sheila

Booked and paid for a room however guest house cancelled as we travelled leaving us in the lurch. When Sheila from guest house emailed she was rude accussing us of lying with no interest in arranging for return of money paid for a service not provided.
Truly appalling customer service.

Didn't get further than the front door as it was shut in our faces with our crying baby.

So the reaction from the lady at the door left us feeling like the worst we've ever been treated. No help from her at all literally shut the door in our face with our baby crying who only needed to be settled and fed which we had to fumble about in the car to do so.

She was in that much if a rush to hide away from her made it problem she left her dog outside.

Little did we know they do not accept children. Not that it says on their website or any of the alternative booking sites which we used. In fact there is a lovely sentence stating they accept children. We didn't check the website prior to booking which was our mistake not that it would have helped our situation at the door. We just assumed that a 7 month old baby who won't use any of their facilities and we bring our own travel cot wouldn't cause this much of a problem in a B&B.

We've had no issues bringing our baby to other B&B since it is literally just a room you hire and you're on your way out and about.

What an absolute disgrace this was I cannot believe she thought this was the correct way to deal with a couple and a baby at the door with our bags and it starting to rain.

We loved our stay at Hundalee and found the building to be very cosy. Sheila was welcoming and friendly and showed us to our room. On the grounds are chickens whose eggs were used at breakfast which is a lovely touch, as well as delicious honey collected on site. It was lovely to get chatting to the other guests over breakfast. We walked 30 minutes to the centre for dinner which was a lovely walk. I recommend staying for two days to give you more time to unwind.
