A real find, a warm and friendly welcome and perhaps one of the best breakfasts I've had in the Llanidloes area in over 25 years of visiting there. The accommodation is very comfortable, heating and hot water provided by a Rayburn cooker/boiler, making it really cosy - ideal after a day walking or cycling in the beautiful local countryside. The main house at Clochfaen is a small gem of an Arts and Crafts country house. And it's out in the countryside on the Wye near Llangurig, so it's really peaceful. Altogether well worth a return visit.

Afraid that the room we used was very small, little or no draw wardrobe space and no ensuite, no wash facilities in the room - I was disappointed because I was unable to open the window for fresh air. I do prefer to sleep with an open window. very isolated spot down a single track - venue on the right in the road marked cul de sac. On the bright side a superb breakfast as per your requirements.
