Very friendly and helpful owner, Paul. Generous access to hot drinks during day and free reign to basic breakfast foods. Doing what he can to reduce risks from Covid by limiting numbers. We were there on our own for 2 of 5 nights. En suite shower but shared toilets. Basic hostel accommodation as you'd expect, but clean and roomy. Good location for small beech nearby and other places not far. Pub in village friendly with basic food and some better food options a mile or two away, including great takeaways from Square & Compass, near to the nearest shop & petrol station about a mile away.

We stayed in the annexe attached to the hostel as part of our trip walking the Coastal Path. Paul (the owner) was incredibly helpful, kind and friendly and couldn’t have made us feel more welcome - he really went above and beyond. The room was clean and comfy, we would highly recommend for any coastal walkers!

Nice and clean room, the owner is very welcoming and friendly. Loads of food in the kitchen for everyone that the owner provides that is included in the price. Great location if you enjoy coastal walks and scenery. Would highly recommend if you want and like the hostel experience.

Paul the owner could not have been more helpful. We were a group of 7 walking the coastal path and he provided great support throughout, including provisions for breakfast and packed lunches. Great atmosphere - just what was required.

Apart from the hostel being clean, well run and super cosy, the best part is the owner Paul. Can honestly say one of the nicest guys out there.Very welcoming and instantly makes you feel at home. He also owns the Ship Inn pub which is a one minute walk away. This place is just what I needed after a long walk.Atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are really attentive and the food is actually mind blowing. I really can't recommend this or these places enough....beyond 5 stars and I'm a hard guy to please. So to round up...top marks keep it going.....

Had a brilliant night at the hostel, its clean, cosy and homely which was perfect after a week of camping. Paul the owner is fab and made me feel very welcome. Its facilities are top notch especially since the kitchen is now in use. Lovely area, walk to St Davids was fantastic (as recommended by Paul!).
Hope to return in the future.

A homely feel to this hostel. A very welcoming host. Rooms were clean in good repair, tastefully decorated... bedding provided, always a bonus, thank you. Spacious, lounge area and kitchen. Off road parking.
Enjoyed our stay. Pembrokeshire offers a great range of walks, beaches, hidden coves, eateries. Book well in advance to eat out, as the easing of lockdown has brought trade back to restaurants, pubs, cafes etc... all of whom are in great demand
