The five Sisters who run the guest house and the convent are so kind. They tend to their duties and religious excercise with discipline and grace. The rooms are cozy and provide what you need. There is a dining area and a front patio to sit on. The breakfasts are often over easy eggs with toast, jam, cooked ham/bacon and cereal. They also give you orange juice and a choice of coffee or tea. If you choose to have dinner with them be prepared for a delicious 3 course meal well worth the 10 pounds.

The Bridgettine Nuns who runs the guest house are very friendly. The place Very clean it feels like home and peaceful. The food is simple and well cooked. The place are very tranquil. Treated the guest like their own family...
Very religious but they don't force you to join, you feel that you are very welcome if you want too. X

A lovely guest house run by a group of Catholic nuns.

Being nuns you have to obey a few rules especially around the timing of breakfast as they have their own duties to perform and so the guests have to accommodate that, and that means strict times.

However they are very friendly and the place is very nice and comfortable for travellers.

Had a great relaxing weekend at St Winefrides guest house. The Brigittine nuns are so friendly, they treated us like a family. The house is very clean and quiet. It was the most needed at this time of our life. Will definitely come again and we recommend this place to everyone. Thank you sisters for the warm welcome and your prayers xx

The kind Sisters catered for my every need, dietary and without any fuss.
There is a great relaxing atmosphere in their Guest house and it's excellent value for money to act as a Base when exploring the local attractions.
Pilgrims to the Holy Well of St Winefride would especially Benefit from staying there as it is in easy walking distance to the Holy Well.
I travel all over the World and I always find my stay at this Guest House gives me more than O ever get from any merely commercial establishment.

A very nice guest house, run by Bridgettine sisters from India, with a lovely peaceful atmosphere. The nuns are very helpful. The bedrooms are a bit basic but very clean and tidy

Lovely and welcoming
Lovely food at all meals and accommodated any dietary requirements as well.
The sisters were very friendly and approachable.
I was there for 4 days on pilgrimage with our parish.
We look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful room for our family (two adults and two young children), great location for Holywell, the High Street and beaches a short car journey away. Breakfast was amazing and we went for the half-board option. Was lovely to come back after a fun day out to a scrumptious and well portioned meal.
