What a pleasant surprise. I booked this on booking.com because it was the closest cheapest place to where I wanted to be the following day. It was a pleasant surprise to find the lodgings were excellent. Staff, rooms, breakfast, price were all very good and for me, the location and surroundings were perfect. I'll be back next year. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

If you are in North Wales stay here . Great staff, great food and fantastic staff. The local beer was very good as well . Highly recommend staying here .

Beautiful peaceful setting in a village. Feels like it's got a community. My ensuite room was comfy, clean and quiet. The large shower was good too.
Cooked breakfast for vegetarian was good and the restaurant meal was very good. Car parking is either opposite or 1 min walk away in village car park. A hidden gem.

Very obliging and friendly staff, the breakfast is good and the rooms were clean and tidy - lovely views and nice quiet surroundings. Fully enjoyed our break and would definitely recommend!

Even a one-night stay in a Brilliant venue leaves its imprint on you. That is Most certainly true of the Hawk & Buckle Inn.

Our stay was just great from start to finish.
I'd be back in a heart-beat.

Just a one nights stay whilst on holiday. Made to feel very welcome. The room was excellent. Fresh and clean and the bathroom was clean and tidy too. Lovely breakfast. Only down side was that no meals were served on a Sunday evening - but we should have asked when we were checking in ! - Great beer served. All in all a lovely country pub to stay in. many thanks..

Stayed 2 nights. Room claustrophobic. No toiletries, Breakfast sunday very poor. Craft ale in bar cloudy and undrinkable. Car parking in village not on site and wifi intermittent.

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Shame not much choice in food for vegetarians but enjoyed the chips. Stayed overnight and had a good breakfast. Would definitely recommend it!
