The view of the sea was superb from our balcony. Our room was outstanding with all the luxury we needed for our stay. Helen couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent!! Will we be back? Definitely. David and Geraldine.

Beautiful room with a stunning view. We paid the extra for the room with the balcony which I would reccomend as we sat for a few hours in the evening and early morning looking out to sea. Its close enough to the shore that you can hear the waves crash when all goes quiet outside. The balcony is an enclosed patio style so even though it was a cold winter night we were very comfortable, hot tea in hand in cosy armchairs. We had a delicious breakfast, definitely try the fruit and yoghurt pots they are a lovely treat. Helen is an excellent host, very friendly and meticulous with housekeeping and catering. She finds the perfect balance of being attentive whilst maintaining peace and privacy allowing for a very relaxing stay.

Probably the most friendly pub we have ever been to. Quality of food excellent and so much we could barely stand up afterwards. Ideally located on the river Lyn with idillic walk to watersmeet and Lynmouth. Definitely recommend this pub for a stay

My wife and I have just had a wonderful stay at this first class guesthouse. It is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The hosts are lovely, warm people and we felt very comfortable throughout. The breakfast was superb with all dietary needs catered for. We would not hesitate to recommend this guesthouse to anyone and will definitely be having more stays there in the future.

Had a wonderful stay here! Helen and family are so welcoming and everything to our satisfaction, great breakfasts and wonderful rooms, stayed with our son and his girlfriend. Would thoroughly recommend.
