I arrived late after traveling most of the day and attending a meeting in Welshpool, a room had been booked for me and I had the name and a postcode only. 10.30pm I got there and the place was in darkness, I tried the front door and it was open, I entered and was faced with 2 doors I knocked on them both, no answer. I called out several times, then a guest came downstairs, I explained the situation and he also tried to get a response from the other door, which was locked, then he said "the room opposite his was empty and we could see if it was open. it was so i got my bag thinking I would explain everything to the owner in the morning. Next morning I was up at 8 and took my bag to my car, where I saw the owner, "Good morning" I said and all I got was "Did you stop here last night"? I explained everything and his vile little wife popped up asking if I often wandered into peoples houses and got into their beds? They tried to tell me that they had been up at the time I arrived but I knew as did the guest who I had met the night before that this was a complete lie. They told me I could not have breakfast as I had not ordered any, I said "right, I will just pay for the room and get going" £50 she charged me. I would never consider sending anybody to these horrible people. I work for an internet television company and we will be doing a production from Welshpool, a full crew for up to 8 weeks starting in September. Guess where we will not be staying.
