Baytree House was like a Home from Home only way better. Loraine and Martin were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the room scored a 12/10 breakfasts were fabulous12/10. Only stayed for 2 nights but would happily have stayed longer. Love, love it . Will be returning. 😍

The Baytree B&B is by far the best B&B we've ever stayed in. I booked for my partner's birthday and on arrival Lorraine had left chocolates and a beer with 'happy 30th' on in the room. There were so many lovely little touchest like this throughout our stay. Fresh milk and bottled water in a fridge outside the room, delicious welshcakes and other goodies next to the kettle, shampoos and lotions to use in the bathroom... Anything you may have forgotten is likely to pop up somewhere! The bed was honestly the most comfortable we've stayed in away from home, and the shower was great too. The breakfast was also incredible, and Martin and Lorraine were very accomodating with what time it could be had. Can't fault this B&B at all, or it's wonderful hosts.

love this beautiful B&B and this time also stayed in The Potting Shed. Nothing is too much trouble - everything is beautifully clean and so comfortable. The beds and bedding are all sumptuous - I stumbled upon The Baytree that totally rescued me when I was doing some training down in Carmathen and stayed in the Travelodge - when I had to return I looked for something other and could have cried with happiness and relief when Lorraine opened the door to the double room in the B&B - such cosy attention to detail - Welsh cakes, fruit cake , mini fridge outside with milk, shortbread biscuits and wow - fantastic fresh breakfast which was huge!
So this year I returned with my partner and dog and we stayed in The Potting Shed which again is gorgeous - home from home and lots of garden space and surrounds for our dog and to sit out on the veranda.
Carmathen itself is well positioned for visiting lots of great places and exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.
We most definately will be back to The Baytree!

I arrived at the potting shed on a very wet and cold Tuesday evening
It was wonderful to find it warm and so welcoming.it was like a big fluffy blanket that wrapped itself around you. I know that sounds crazy but the attention to detail was so wonderful.
I did not meet Lorraine and Martin but it was so obvious this home from home was was build with integrity and love.
I cannot wait to return in the summer.
Thank you both for a fantastic three days.

Nora Thomas.

My partner and I stayed at The Potting Shed for 3 nights, and ended up staying a extra night, what a wonderful place, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Loraine and Martin have obviously put a lot of love into The Potting Shed and this speaks volumes as soon as you go through the door, spotlessly clean, quality furnishings and quirky decor, all in keeping with the surroundings. The bed was absolutely scrumptious and very comfy. We didn't want for anything, it was so well equipped and attention to detail was second to none. Our Lurcher loved it too, just open the french doors and straight into the lovely garden with her ball, she was in her element. Massive thank you to Loraine and Martin for having us, can't wait to come back.

A beautiful peaceful place to stay with welcoming and friendly hosts. Lorraine has added lots of thoughtful details. Fresh flowers and herbs in our room, toiletries and sewing kit. Spotlessly clean with a power shower and quality towels, hairdryer. We will definitely visit again breakfast table and produce delicious and again not in plastic cartons. The thoughtful touches make you feel welcome. Milk and water available in our own fridge. Tea and coffee in the room in glass jars , no plastic. I could go on. Excellent, to the highest standard. Lovely couple. It was nice to meet you

WELL! What can I say 😍 basically I didn't want to leave!!! I could have happily moved in and lived there forever. Gorgeous, tasteful, quiet tranquil with the most lovely hosts you could wish to meet.
The room was amazing every tiny detail had been considered with their guests in mind. Freshly baked Welsh cakes and Bara brith with fresh fruit in the room. Along with a tea tray with hot chocolate and fruit teas among the usual collections. A cookie jar and a cafetiere with fresh coffee. Wine glasses and bottled water in the fridge!! The bed was like sleeping in a cloud with the most amazing linen I actually didn't want to get up it was sooooo comfy. Immaculate and clean, with cotton wool, ear buds, hand wash, cream and moisturiser. Shampoos conditioners and shower gels. Packets of pocket tissues and local leaflets and books on the area. I can honestly say I have never been anywhere like it before for pure luxury and kindness ❤. Only to be even more bowled over by the most amazing breakfast I have ever eaten. This place litterally could not get any better. I loved it.
