A lovely place! Friendly welcoming, great accomodation, super clean, perfect location, delicious meal and breakfast (lamb and pork belly really recommended. Super fresh vegetables). All beautifully curated.

This is a very special place run by people who really care. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms, hotel and gardens are just lovely.

The owner of this business went out of their way to help 2 ladies in distress, having driven down from Cheshire on our way to a funeral, we tried most hotels n motels which no vacancies. We chanced upon Black Mountain Lodge and being so late at night, they went out of their way for us, by getting a lovely room ready for us to occupy. We had an excellent room with a wonderful breakfast. Beds were very comfortable and clean. A big heartfelt thank you to all the staff.

The room was quite spacious and clean, although in the room we had, in the barn, the glass counter was cracked and the room door lock was quite sticky when accessing it from outside. There was no information booklet in the room which would have been nice to have for explaining any amenities or things to do in the area, especially since we were in on days that the on site restaurant was closed.

Staff were friendly when we saw them. Breakfast was good although the eggs benedict on my first day was not great as the egg was not soft.

Such a fab place. Bar closed a little early but really loved our stay. Brekkie was off the chain.

A cosy, rustic place to stay. Plenty of space and friendly, helpful hosts.
