I was also advised that I would receive a two hour notice period before delivery.
I woke up at 5 am just in case, obviously rather inconvenient but needs must.. No contact until 7:05 am, when the delivery team rang my doorbell.
Unfortunately, I live 30 minutes away from the delivery address. I wasn’t told or made aware that no notice would be given because apparently your team can’t ring any doorbells or make any calls before 7 am.
As such, the team refused to wait 30 minutes, and the delivery had to be rescheduled.
This is obviously a huge disappointment especially after waiting five weeks for my delivery.
I was also not aware that the bed wouldn’t even be assembled. The delivery team simply dropped the contents of my £3,000 bed on my bedroom floor and left.
The worst experience of buying a bed I have ever had.
The worst customer service I have dealt with in my entire life. Nobody will answer their phone calls. Initially we put in an order for a full bed and mattress costing almost £5500. On the day before expected delivery and the morning of I recieved text messages to confirm that an engineer will be on site within 30 minutes to assemble our order for us and to let us know to make sure the room is empty. In doing so we dispose our bed and mattress the day before and decided to sleep on the floor for one night. We'll, we ended up sleeping on the floor for the past 4 months because we ended up waiting for our refund which was completely messed around. We had to physically go into store to argue for it back. We ended up ordering with the manufacturer directly and still having to wait 4/6 weeks. But atleast everything was sorted out. No apologies from management. No sympathy. Nothing.
PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE BUYING FROM HERE. They are quick enough to take your deposit.
We've been on the phone 4 times to customer service, each time having to wait in a queue for 30 minutes before being able to speak to someone.
When we finally got through, the customer service agents assured us a) first of all that everything was fine and it wouldn't be delivered incorrectly despite the notification from the (useless, incompetent, rude) DX Delivery courier; b) second that they would resolve the situation ASAP and get the mattress picked up and redelivered. This was a lie.
It has been a week and this has not yet happened, despite them knowing she is moving house in a few days and needs the mattress picked up and redelivered before then - or else she will be sleeping on the floor for the next month. We will never, ever buy from them again or from any company that uses DX.
