The White Company

Love The White Company but no customer service at this store. Very, very disappointing. Every question asked was clearly too much and they couldn't get me out of the store quickly enough despite a very decent sale. The only thing they wanted to do was close their till for the day and go home.

Lovely shop, although a little small. Tiny children's section upstairs with no room for a buggy inside.

Very poor customer service... although my partner and I are frequent customers of the London stores we decided to visit our local Tunbridge wells store for a change(both being from T/W). We were met with poor attitudes towards us for asking if they had two of an item in stock, " down stairs" we were told, rude and blunt especially as we had planned to spend a couple of hundred in the store... we purchased a few items but no where near what we had planned as we did not feel they deserved the money from our pockets... disappointed to say the least and will only visit the London stores from now on.....

Very pleasant helpful staff even though they were very busy when I went in. Went to look in the stockroom didn't just say no it's not available.

Beautiful building, great location in High Street staff very helpful.
Great choice of goods over 2 floors.

I'm not a regular customer to the store, as I tend to shop online, but I popped into this branch to have a browse on my way to lunch.

Sadly, on this occasion I was made to feel quite uncomfortable. The sales person was hovering and only tidying the shelves right next to me. They weren't untidy.
Now, I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure I know what being on shoplifter alert looks like in retail. I've been a store manager for 15 years and I definitely felt that I was being watched!

If I'm wrong I take it all back, but you still alienated an actual customer. Us scruffy buggers like your scented candles too!

Beautiful store, usual white company quality and price. One or two very nice and polite staff.....others need a little help in customer service!

Never judge a book by its cover! I didn’t look great because I am suffering with post covid symptoms. But I felt well enough to go in and see if I could buy something to cheer myself up.
Wish I hadn’t. I’ll shop online.
