Fantastic service and very knowledgeable
On day 1 of a 3 day ride to Paris I had two serious mechanical failures despite a recent full service by a Bristol bike shop. These failures would have resulted in the abandonment of my ride but I made my way to The Hub Cycleworks that I saw on google.
The service was fantastic. They took the bike straight away and checked it through. They replaced a key part and fixed both problems. The staff were friendly and very accommodating as well as explaining the problem and what was fixed. All this for a very low cost.
Thanks to the team at The Hub Cycleworks I was on my way in half an hour and able to complete my journey.
If I lived in Southampton I would be using The Hub Cycleworks as my main bike shop going forward.

Best cycle shop in Southampton. I arrived just before closing time, but all the staff still made time for me and did some fixes for me way after closing time. The price was also crazy good for all fixes and new parts! Massive thank you to Izzy, who spent the time to fix my bike and was super kind and helpful. I’ve been to all of the cycle shops in the city centre, but now I’ll definitely be coming to this one every time. Thanks so much guys!

Unfortunately I’ve had to change my review the initial service was great but follow up has been appalling. Six months on still waiting for tyre protection at least 4 phone calls and no responses so don’t trust them if they promise things as my experience is they don’t shame really bike is good.

After this review I was contacted and the matter dealt with, I was sad it took the review to do this because of the first experience being so good. However the issue is now resolved and it could have just been a one off (I hope so) so I have increased the rating again! (It was 5 then 1 and now 4) the bike is still 👍

Took bike in to get a new chain, also needed a new cassette, said maybe be ready that day , but probably later in the week. Got a call a couple of hours later and it was all ready . Price was very reasonable too. Great service , highly recommend

Great to be back here. Good place, friendly people and had exactly what I needed. Breath life into an old track pump - replace the twin connector for £6 instead of a whole new pump for £20 or £30. Much better all round.

Noticed I had a puncture on my way home so stopped in at the Hub Cycleworks. Team were really friendly and fit me in very quickly. Bike was done within 1.5hrs and they even checked over the rest of my bike for me. Very good price and great service.

Came here three days into my three month tour of the British Isles. Everything was completely wrong with my bike setup, I was given loads of great advice and free reign to tinker with my bike in their shop. The tour ended up being the best time of life thus far, the experience was definitely helped by the wonderful, kind people here.

Have bought several bikes here and spares for other bikes, always excellent quality, knowledgeable and friendly service at a fair price. Bike services always make my bike feel brand new again! Very happy to support this local business, yes you can get slightly cheaper parts on the internet, but if this shop closed it would be a real shame!!
