Exceptional and very personable bicycle service delivered from a funky lock-up tucked away in the the heart of Stoke Newington. I have a very ancient and slightly mashed, step thru bike that needed fixing but no extras, and rather than look down his nose at it or suggesting I do more than was necessary to get on the road again, mechanic Philip, straightforwardly explained what he could do, at what cost and agreed a turnaround time with the least amount of down time. Wouldn't go anywhere else now. Highly recommend.

Philip brought my bike back to life after I’d abandoned it outside for almost 2 years. A really thorough, friendly service and a very fair price. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Love Bikes again.

All the 5 stars comments are true. I was really happy I had call Philip to help fixe my flat tire which was done super quick, last min on an evening within a couple hours and he was such a lovely person to speak with. Don’t waste your money at the fancy stores around and support Philip and his passion. Thanks a lot again to him :)

I got a new Tenways from a shop in Wales. I had issues with the left pedal not going into the crank arm. I called Love Bikes and he told me that it's a common mistake that people try putting in the left pedal clockwise, as you would the right pedal. The left side pedal should go in anti-clockwise. As I was speaking to the guy from Love Bikes I tried what he said and lo and behold he was absolutely correct. I had been doing it wrong! This was a great help as several other bike shops I called did not provide this detail.

Philip serviced a bike that had been unused for a year. He explained what the bike needed in detail, and now it feels brand new. Really happy with my experience and would highly recommend.

Can't recommend enough. Phillip offers a great service at fair prices! He solved my bike problem in less than 30 minutes, and offered good advice. He clearly knows a lot about what he is doing and is also very nice. I'll definitely start making all my bike services/repairs with Phillip.

My bike's been a dream to ride since I took it in for a service with Philip. Philip's highly skilled and generous with his expertise and time. He took great care to resolve an ongoing issue with one of my tyres, including loaning me one of his while I waited for a new one. I can highly recommend his services and wouldn't take my bike anywhere else.
