Lovely local shop. I went here to buy a bike for my 11 year old granddaughter, they took time in fitting her for the right size and bike and included a complimentary helmet, stand, rain cover and water bottle. They also included a year's free service. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going further than the call of duty in helping me get the bike in my car.

Unbelievably helpful. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone today (on his day off) and he took the time to explain to me how to adjust my derailleur myself - he also advised if I couldn't do it I could bring it to him the next day as he was open! Top guy and very friendly

Ash is knowledgeable, friendly and honest. He has been in the industry for decades and it shows. Yes you can go to Evans. Halfords or online and take your chances , or shop locally and build a relationship with an enthusiast and long term bike shop owner . Some of the reviews here show a staggering lack of basic understanding and I suspect it reflects more on the posters than on the business owner. I hope this shop is there for decades more. In fact I’m heading there shortly to get a repair and browse !

Excellent, Prompt and high standard service of cycle following an accident, and at reasonable cost.
And advised of work which may be needed in the future, but not in a salesman like way.
Polite and pleasant staff. It's also nice to see that they have provided feedback to every comment in the reviews, some of them sadly very unreasonable, which shows they really do take time for customers. Wish you and the business success.

Always good and speedy service in the years that I have been using the Cycle Store. Had two bikes serviced and all done perfectly. Also managed to fit a basket that I couldn’t work out how to do!

Took my Bianchi bike in for a service. Ash helped me discuss new tyres and talked about chain cleaning. Didn't have the correct tyres in, but didn't attempt to sell me ones I didn't need. Service was good and bike feels like new.

I am astounded by the previous comment I am so sorry you had to read that I think you are amazing. After all you have been through and yet you provide excellent customer service!!! I took my bike to Halfords first and they told me I needed a new bike but Ash repaired it for me !!! Moreover for a nominal fee!!!
