They have amazing knowledge and will do their best to help you get value for money. The team are friendly, approachable and caring about both your experience and your bike. As cyclists themselves, they have great insight. The shop has an amazing range of cycles, apparel, tools and equipment. They do value for money services and beat the Halfords lot on value for money.

Was really stuck to get me bike serviced as my son has abused my bike. Spoke to John and the boys booked an appointment and got me sorted advised me not to change parts that didn't need changing, which I was thankful for and kept the cost down .

I've used Fred's for over 20 years and I've never had a bad experience. All the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, they will always try there best to help you out. We need local bikes shops like this to keep going so try use them when you can.

These guys are amazing. I wanted to book my Bianchi road bike in for a service, but it was going to be over 6 weeks until I could get it in. The guy then asked if there was anything specifically wrong with the bike and I informed him that the rear-mech cable had snapped so he said I could drop it off first thing the next morning and he'd sort it out, and he did. I then booked my Santa Cruz Bronson C in for a full service and when I picked it up it felt like a brand new bike. Mike, the engineer who did the work, stripped it down and cleaned and greased everything, fitted a new Hope Hub, fixed the issue with the rear mech, fitted a new tubeless front tyre, new headset spacers and gave it full clean. Like I said, these guys are amazing and know everything there is to know about bikes. Highly recommended.
