I booked my trail bike in for a really annoying creak around the bottom bracket area, the work was undertaken efficiently, timely and at a good price. Unfortunately whilst out on a ride the creak returned, I turned up on spec and Matt immediately took the bike in, gave me a coffee and commenced work. Unfortunately they were unable to sort it there and then as they required a specific tool. Matt called me 2 days later letting me know the job was complete with no charge.
Excellent customer service, highly recomend using them.
Many thanks to Matt, Tom and the rest of the team.

My experience with Mammoth Lifestyle and Fitness was very disappointing. After hearing good things about the shop and their stock of Specialized products I was expecting a good service. I asked for a Specialized Allez road bike to be put aside for me due to a cycle to work scheme voucher being processed for me. When I arrived with my voucher I was told that the bike I had reserved had been sold that morning. I was then told that they would be able to order another bike and that they would get in touch within the next week. With no reply for over a week I rang the shop to find out what was going on. I was told that Garry was working on it but when I asked to speak to him I was told that he wasn’t available and would ring me back. It’s now been 3 months and I’m still waiting for that call! I can now recommend the Specialized concept store in Chester who have exceptional customer service and managed to get me my bike in 2 weeks.

Spoke with Gary after an awful online experience with my last bike and what a completely different experience!
The guy couldn’t do enough for me, very knowledgeable, very patient. The only massive issue is i shouldn’t have used an internet shop and gone straight here!
Got me the exact bike i wanted, built on time, set everything for me in the shop, even offered to put it on my motor.
Service is 100%, highly recommend the guys 👌

I dropped my bike to these guys, it was quickly diagnosed as a worn free hub,
They ordered the part and fitted it along with indexing the gears .
I had the bike back the very next day!
Amazing value for such knowledge and service.

Thanks

I went into Mammoth this week to see if they had a bike for my 8 year old girl. Was pleasantly surprised that they had exactly what I needed. More over, It was the price it should be, not above average for being a specialist store. I also dropped in 2 other bikes for a very reasonably priced safety check and service. My adults bike is much better, after some adjustments to an issue I was having with balance. My gears are working perfectly. After a couple of rides my daughter has an issue with her brake cable and I brought it back. It was seen to immediately (which I wouldn’t have expected) , and replaced for free. The staff are very friendly and welcoming to a mediocre female rider who is now able to enjoy shredding around with her little girl. Thank you James and Gary.

Can not give no stars unfortunately. Not only did we get messed around for a week while they didn't do the job requested until last minute. They charged more then they originally stated, and then to top it off they have broken the di2 connection when changing a headset, and the breaks are utterly pathetic and barely work after they charged me for a full break bleed. Take it back to the shop AGAIN and they refuse to fix there screw up because my husband has a grumpy face and so that means he is giving them attitude. They accused him of being aggressive when he last collected it but actually he was talking to me not them... disgusting service. Do not EVER use these sorry excuse for people.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Messaged on Facebook and it was read a week ago and had no response, no contact, nothing. Already annoyed with the service you offered originally, fixing the bike when I only asked for a quote, forcing me to pay for the bike to get it back, and the "fix" hasn't worked.

Edit: additional information:
As I can see from your response and from previous responses to people that gave you honestly low reviews, you like to shift blame. I was understandably upset, because my bike was dropped in for a quote, I waited 2 weeks and when I came back to the store it hadn't even been touched. I spoke to someone who said they would get it "looked at" right away. Nobody gave the go ahead to do any work on the bike.

Not once did I give any attitude, show any aggression, or conduct myself in an unruly manner. I was annoyed but paid for the fix and went. You have charged for a fix that hasn't worked and your customer service is disgusting.

My bike was not in a terrible condition, it's well looked after and the only problem with it was the rear mechanism problem that I wanted looked at. I find it strange to hear that the workshop worked hard to fix the bike within my "budget" seeing as I never gave one at all.

5 star attempt to pass blame from a store I would give 0 stars to if possible.

It has taken over a month to wait for a receipt that I have been chasing up. It could have easily been sent as soon as my purchase/service was finished with. If it hadn't been for me needing to take my bike in earlier today, then it still wouldn't have been resolved. I do not expect to have to keep pushing and chasing for over one month for something. I'm sure if it was a task that involved a cost, then it would have probably been sorted soon enough. Like my cleats and bottle holder.
After having my bike serviced on the 26th March 2021, I was reasonable and gave time for it to be sorted.
An email was sent on 31st March 2021 at 11:28, detailing what I required, but no reply.
On 16th April, I was told they'd be sorting it that afternoon.
On 23rd April, I was told it'd be chased up.
On 30th April, I was asked for my email address, which I know fine well I left with Gary after collecting my bike (I also wrote down what needed listing on a post it note)
I took my bike in today (1st May 2021) to have the chain looked at, and I was still being asked what I had ordered.

Being told that 'you had just nipped out' twice and that you were sorting it were most probably excuses to keep fobbing me off, to avoid addressing the issue.
Today, I told you I'd have expected it to be sorted sooner. If you'd have listened to the rest of what I had to say, then I wouldn't have needed to write this review. I'll happily discuss it further when my bike is ready for collection.
