I'm a home carer that travels all over Portsmouth on a daily basis and have popped in to almost every bike shop in the area, Southsea Cycles is my number one go to, as they are always happy to help and realistic about how long the repairs will take and prices are bang on - I've had my brakes repaired, inner tubes replaced, new bolts for my basket, and most recently my seat fixed. Every member of staff I have spoken to has been friendly, knowledgeable and efficient with the repairs. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys! 10/10 service

I dropped my bike off without booking after damaging it in a crash (and also being very overdue a service!). I dropped it off on a Friday and they got back to me at the start of next week with a quote for the works required. It took a couple weeks in total but the bike did require a lot of work so I expected it to take a while, particularly with the shortage of bike supplies in the industry at the moment. They messaged me as soon as it was ready, talked me through the work carried out and charged me no more than they had quoted. They've also invited me back in 6 weeks to check it over again for free to make any tuning adjustments required once I wear in some of the new parts. I did have to chase for updates which was frustrating and those I received weren't always accurate but ultimately they did a good job on my bike at a fair price

Several other bike shops in Portsmouth turned down working on Campagnolo but not here!

This bike shop has been my saving grace for years now. I always pop in for a quick tire pressure check, or if I need my breaks seeing to. They are affordable, friendly, and always provide a fast turnaround if my bike requires more. I love them, I even buy them chocolates some times.

Had my Boardman bike serviced here as there was an issue with the rear wheel hub (completely loose and misaligned). Not only had they completed the work in less than 24hrs, but they also tightened my headset (I didn't even request for it to be done) and also replaced a broken QR bolt.

I use my bike every day to commute and I have to say that it's running smoother than it did new and I have these guys to thank for it. They went above and beyond and I will definitely be returning to them for all my bike servicing needs. Highly recommended!

Top peeps, I can only recommend them more than I can describe. Local, happy, accommodating and more importantly trust worthy with our hobby or profession :) great job guys.

I have come in before for small things like helmets, and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. This most recent time, I brought my bike in because my brakes had disconnected, and I left my bike with them for a few hours. They let me know it was ready, and when I picked it up, not only had they done the repairs I had asked for, but they had cleaned the bike as well! It’s evident that they take pride in their work, and their service is so great that I was compelled to leave my first-ever review!

Very nice guys, managed to fix my bike within 24 hours of me dropping it off and for a fair price. Would definitely recommend
