My car is over ten years old now and although in top condition does require some TLC. Small parts, such as wheel speed sensors, have a big impact when they fail. Connor Evans, service advisor, not only booked me in quickly, but ensured the right part was ready, took a real interest in the issues and made sure they were all resolved in a timely fashion so I could collect. Very much appreciated on such a hot day! Sytner Cardiff has an impressive premises on Penarth Road, but that would be nothing if it wasn't underpinned by the excellent customer service I received. It's on the strength of this excellent customer service by Connor Evans, that I have continued the warranty with BMW as I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.

After my initial review outlining the great service purchasing the car it's now unfortunately dramatically decreased after the sale. There has been an ongoing issue with the vehicle from the day I drove the car away. Countless times on the phone to Sytner Cardiff with no returned calls, updates or resolution so reported the problem to BMW head office and still no joy. Losing faith in the brand is an understatement. The attitude has come across as "it's not my/our problem". On one phone call to Sytner Cardiff I went into detail about the problem, how long it's been happening and the sequence of events. The exact response I got was... "I'm not having none of it"... Yes an absolutely shocking statement to say the least. Is this an accusation that I'm lying?? After sales, customer care has been dreadful. Yes I could name these people iv been dealing with too.

All I can say about Sytner Cardiff is amazing. From the time we walked in the ladies on reception were friendly and professional, drinks were plentiful and they continually checked on us. Gareth (our Salesman) was a great mix of professional and friendly, not only on the phone during setting up the test drive, but when we met at the dealership, he made us feel more like friends than customers. Ed came in to organise the finance and again, was a great mix of professional and friendly, he gave us what felt like every option available and has continued to follow up post purchase, as has Gareth. I would definitely buy BMW again (I traded in my Mercedes) and this team will be the first people I turn to. You have a great team!

We had fantastic service from first Gareth (including taking calls when out at dinner - thanks Gareth!) and then following that from Ed Phillips who did all of the finance follow up through to us driving out in our beautiful new BMW iX 40 M Sport Edition! There were a few things that needed some real time and attention and nothing was too much trouble for Ed who made himself available whenever needed and was a pleasure to deal with. Start to finish 10 days from seeing the car to driving it away including Ed personally overseeing the handover of our new car. Thank you for a great experience!
