Fantastic energising team, who took me and my partner over to Flat Holm Island for the day. fun was on the top of the agenda, but safety was there before it. Great fast boats and a very well organised trip. Thank you to the team for a wonderful day.

If your looking for a really fun fast boat this is not the boat to go on we booked a 25 minute boat ride it lasted about 15-20 mins and the name shockwave makes you think it’s really fast but you do that really fast fun for 2 minutes in total and for the rest of the time you go extremely slow doing nothing but looking at a river I would not recommend going on it if you want to have fun and go fast for the whole time you booked for. (Extra information: to expensive 6 people costed 78 pounds for 20 minutes and it was not even good)

Very disappointed. Always loved the speed boat rides with Cardiff sea safaris....this does not compare in any way. A little acceleration across the bay for 2 minutes then so slow down Ely river (no idea why they go there) the water bus faster. Old boat. If you are looking for a thrill ride, don't book.

Shocking.! Arrived today with 2 young Children excited to go on the boat. They put our life jackets on and took us down to the boat. Got told 1 of the children are to small to ride we told him we checked his height on your website before booking and he’s tall enough and they turned around and said that’s for the other boat that’s not here today this one he’s to small for. Asked for a refund and got told it’ll take 30 days to reach your account. What refund takes 30 days to reach your account?
More to the point though to get them with there life jackets on and get them within inches of going on the boat to say no was hugely disappointing. Change your height rules if your just going to disappoint people. Would not recommend. What a way to spoil a day

Disapointed by this experience. We were expecting a FAST boat for the whole thing, not some slow boat for 20min, then "speed" for 1 minute.

Worst experience ever don’t call it a jet if we only get 2 minutes of speed if I wanted to go on a cruise I would’ve gone on a boat. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.

Such a cool experience, the staff at the front desk and the boat skipper were all great fun, looked and sounded like they loved this job! We took the 25 minute boat blast, you get a couple of minutes blasting full speed, swerving and having a good time either way, as well as a gentle cruise through Penarth bay. I would recommend the short cruise to anyone who has a bit of spare time and wants to give it a try!
