Great trip, really informative crew, a truly fabulous morning. Sadly we didn't see any dolphins, but I have learnt so much about them. How the rich history of the area and how, thanks to the efforts of many, the reliance on tourism beautifully marries with the need to protect the abundance of wildlife in the area. Would highly recommend.

It feels a bit dubious to dish out a five-star review on the basis that we saw dozens of dolphins, including many spectacular breaches, because as the company themselves are careful to emphasise on their website - whether or not you see any dolphins is completely out of their control. They are wild animals, the boats are not allowed to chase them, so you might see them, or you might not - it's basically just down to luck.

Nevertheless, we got (very) lucky on this occasion, making this easily the highlight of our week in Wales.

As for the aspects which WERE in the company's control - booking was easy, safety standards were high, adherence to the marine wildlife code of conduct was solid, commentary was interesting, duration of voyage was, if anything, five minutes longer than advertised... absolutely nothing to quibble about basically.

The boat trip was great! Unfortunately we didn't spot any dolphins but we did see a seal. The trip was informative and the scenery was incredible. We picked a great day for it.

We chose the 1 hour trip because we had to head off to our next stop and didn't have time for a longer one. If you're not overly bothered about dolphin spotting this one is perfect.

Although saying that you could see a dolphin after 2 minutes on the water or 2 hours!

It was a lovely 1 hour boat trip which was very informative and also funny at times. We didn't see any dolphins, but not a lot anyone can do about that. We did manage to see a couple of seals and lots of bird life. Good history of the local area too. Highly recommended!

We had trip to watch the dolphins. We saw them but They were a bit small. We went on 7:10pm. I think best time is noon to watch them. But it was nice experience show dolphins to kids. We saw seagulls in some caves as well.

Had an amazing boat trip on holiday in New Quay. Booked online, easy to book. Just needed name to get on to boat. Communication emails were great. Boat trip itself was really informative, fun and we got to see more wildlife and learn about the area aswell as see the amazing Dolphins. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who it's clear to see love what they do! Keep up the good work guys! 👏

I've had two trips on the Ermol VI, in successive years, and have yet to spot a dolphin. :(
BUT the evening trip is a beautiful place from which to watch the sunset. I'll be back next year.
Top tip: go with the attitude that £10-15 is a reasonable price for an hour long boat trip with commentary, and you won't be disappointed.
Parking is terrible, not this company's fault.

27/10/22. Booked the 90 minutes boat trip on the Dunbar Castle 2. We booked for 10:50. As we were waiting to go, there were 2 dolphins the other side of the pier. George & Cerys were very informative. Not cheap but money well spent. We saw lots of dolphins and a porpoise . If you do get cold onboard they have blankets. All my family of 5 loved it, even my 2 teenage daughters. RECOMMENDED
