Stunning and well stocked book store located in Stoke Newington.

Very well stocked with fiction books, the staff suggestions are very good with well thought out hand-written reviews.

The staff are very friendly and happy to help you find any book you may need.

They have a wide selection of some non book items like postcards and stationary as well.

I can never leave without buying at least one book, even if they didn't have the book I originally came to find...
Brilliant staff who are very knowledgeable and happy to advise even the most indecisive customers (that would be me!)
The kids love the little reading nook and the dog loves the attention and the biscuits.
Everyone's a winner!

Beautiful Bookshop! The windows are always nicely arranged with beautiful ideas books.

Easy Ordering and The People are competent and friendly. The bookshop has been lately renewed and besides being beautiful it's a good experience just to walk in.

Incredible selections of titles. Best place to be in Stoke Newington.

Lovely bookshop, but I always find the friendly service is reserved for a certain demographic. This is my feeling of being a patron over the last 30 odd years. Recently purchased a book for my niece, no hello, no eye contact, back turned intensely studying a shelf, no Happy New Year .. Not even would you like a paper bag etc. The service was very different for other patrons even as they entered the bookshop. Dismay.
