A lovely big shop filled with happily browsing adults and kids sitting on the floor looking through books. Lots to explore and a warm atmosphere with helpful staff. There's a big kids section which might sacrifice a little space to fit in a better adult selection but still, it's a great shop and well worth a visit.

I get most of my books here. I can them cheaper on places like Amazon (and have done before) but you know what? We need to support our local bookshops! How nice is it to walk around a huge book store stumbling across books you wouldnt know to even search for? Waterstones has a great variety which is often replenished and rotated. It's peaceful in there so if you wanted to sample a book you can do it at your lesuire of a comfy armchair. Staff are helpful at hand.

It's the last of the high street book stores. Amazon and Forbidden Planet do it slightly cheaper. It's nice to go to something that looks like a Library and browse. Not sure with what's going on in the world with The Virus, if it will survive without going completely online. We will see????

Very expensive. Nice shop though they need to stop people eating their McDonalds on the floor in the anime section. Has happened on 2 occasions and is pretty grim.

Customer service not what it use to be, to say the least. Especially cashier on ground floor, who threatened me not too talk because I apparently looked to dark skinned to his ugly and I'll informed point of view. He must be in the wrong job chasing customers away. Beggars belief!

They really need to vet their staff more thoroughly. After all we are good decent paying customers, who have been shopping at the book store for over 5 years.

Stick to the 1st floor cashier. More professional, friendly and seems to know what they're doing. And leaves you leaving with a smile.

Book lovers paradise! Such a lovely store, I can easily spend a couple of hours browsing the extensive range of books. Friendly staff as well who are happy to give recommendations if needed.

It's a good book shop for each and every customers needs. The staff member was a little subdued and bland when serving me however I found my purchase which was the main thing
