Waterstones

A fantastic place to get what books you need and every subject possible. If they don't have the book(s) then they order them and let you know when they arrive.
My wife and me got the books we needed. Excellent service. Worthy of 5 stars..

Staff were helpful when dealing with my wife's queries she said too me afterwards were more helpful than I think it was Carlisle branch she went into a couple of weeks previously

I love Waterstones, I always love Waterstones. The staff have always been very friendly, helpful book lovers. At the till of this particular Waterstones branch I found myself gushing over the new books I had bought, and she struck up a conversation about how she has the same books at home. Every time I go into town I go to Waterstones.

A good branch of Waterstones. Not my favourite, but my local, a good offering of books and the atmosphere is very calm, staff always helpful and pleasant. Can't find a fault.

Unless you have been in before I didn't realise there was an upstairs. So, I spent most of my time downstairs looking for cookbooks and gardening. Otherwise, lovely bookshop and the staff don't hover over you if your just looking at a book. They ask if your ok and I'm glad they did because like I said I was downstairs for ages until the lady said "oh, all those sections are upstairs" duh

Excellent service from the staff. They are happy to help find obscure book(s) in store or online. Kate - was specially helpful. The store itself is not very wheelchair friendly is the only negative.
