What a warm welcome my mama and I received at The Julian Centre. We were offered a free coffee or tea, which arrived with a Mother Julian quotation, and spent a happy half hour looking at the books and cards for sale at very reasonable prices.
The volunteer staff were very friendly and helpful.
My only quibble is that Norwich does not advertise the Centre, or the Shrine, at all well, and they were not so easy to find.
Recommended to pilgrims and tourists alike.

Very beautiful, serene, peaceful and filled with prayers chapel. First time I ever visited and St Julian's cell is beyond words. Congratulations to all the volunteers who keep this place running.

At Julian was the first woman author in England. Her book Revelations of Divine Love is considered by many as the second most important book after the Bible. The centre has copies in many languages and other books about her.
