Superbowl UK Norwich

It was very amusing place, my kids had a lot of fun with play machines, and were so happy winning a bonus, the 2 members of staff (boy and girl) were so kind and very helpful even when my kids spend a lot of time to choose the prizes. I was very surprised reading how much 1 star reviews there are.
We definitely come back

Honestly, I don't know where to start. Other than that the bowling is incredibly overpriced. £27 for 2 games of bowling for 2 people! That same amount of money could've been used to get enough food for one person for a few days.
Another thing is that the prices aren't listed anywhere from what I've seen, other than a sign near the entrance saying that each activity was £2 each on Tuesdays.
Finally, a few places in Castle Quarter offer free parking if you use their facilities. This was offered at Superbowl but only after 5 PM.
Looking at the other reviews, people have been saying that the customer service was very poor, however it seemed okay. We did only talk to one staff member though.
I will give them this, the bowling was fun and we didn't have any issues with it however I won't be coming back any time soon.

After the refurb, the new balls have smaller holes so we were forced to use heavier ones. And the aircon was off on one of the hottest day of the year.
V. Uncomfortable experience.

Absolute awful customer service today from the duty manager .
Playing on the pool table while our drinks which had literally just been purchased on the other side of the bar next to the table where collected without our consent or knowledge..
I completely acknowledged that drinks unattended will be collected, but my argument was that Two of the drinks where completely untouched and that a simple excuse me are these your drinks from the bar staff collector would have been the right thing to do..

No apology just awful attitude back from the bar manager ...

Soft play area is really good and my 3 and 6 year old love it, but other basics are really lacking e.g
no public WiFi (surely these dys that is a given, particularly since there is little to zero phone signal in there). Biggest annoyance is the price of food/drinks, which is plain robbery, £4.45 for a water and a yazoo. Take something to read and your own snacks and drinks - if you dont you are in for an expensive and slow couple of hours!

Came 21.08.2021 on a rainy Saturday afternoon. I couldn't think of anywhere else dry to go to keep my toddler entertained.
£3.99 for 2 hours play is great value. The table area was very clean, so were the toilets. Both are unisex and disabled also have baby changing facilities. Staff were very helpful and polite. As soon as someone left, the table was quickly cleared and wiped down.
Food is reasonably priced and comes quickly.
Not many families so we had it mostly to ourselves. Soft play area is very clean and well-kept. Mats are not grubby or sticky. A little dust in unused areas but this is expected.
MUST WEAR SOCKS AND TROUSERS OR you get plastic burns going down the slides!

One of my best sets of two bowling games ever! Got three strikes! I love the style of this bowling alley. I usually go to Hollywood Bowl more as Im from Oxford. Superbowl has more staff and issues are resolved quicker. Minus one star because some of the arcade machines were not working and their best racing machine could only be done with one player, not two as the coin machine in one of the machines was jammed! Staff friendly and helpful, good prices!

Had my little girl's birthday party here. The room was set up very nicely. They were very relaxed about numbers and adding people on the day. Staff member was attentive. Food was nice. Kids all had a lovely time. One of the children had broken their arm a few days previous and couldn't use the soft play but the staff brought him a game to play which was really amazing of them. They made sure all the children were having fun. Reasonably priced and not rushed out the door which is nice to. Thank you
