I cannot recommend Gerri highly enough!! She is friendly, professional and produces excellent results. You can tell she’s an expert at wedding dresses, because although my fitting job was fairly straightforward, she brought to it a close attention to detail, and helped tweak the dress so that everything sat perfectly. She is quick, competitively priced, and lovely to work with.

Gerri was an absolute joy to work with. Not only was she very responsive and knowledgeable, but she also extremely skillful and kind. You can tell she takes great pride in her work - she wouldn’t let me leave her shop until my dress was absolutely perfect! If I could give Gerri (Atelier SIMON) 100 stars for the alterations she made to my wedding gown, I would. I was very nervous about taking my dress to a tailor, since there's no room for error in perfecting the bodice. I am so happy to say that my faith was well-placed in Gerri. The bodice of my dress is delicate sheer embroidered lace over boning with decorative straps. She did an outstanding job taking in the dress in a way that preserved all the functionality of the zipper, perfected the fit, and was so tidily done that it looked like it had been produced that way by the designer.

When she was done, the bodice of the ballgown sat beautifully and comfortably at my waist. The dress probably weighs over 10 kg (22 lbs), and I didn't feel the weight at any point of the 10 hours I wore it because she did such an amazing job on the fit. After her alterations, I could still sit comfortably, waltz with my husband, and dance in the ceilidh for hours. Never once did the dress slip out of place, feel uncomfortable, or look anything less than like I'd walked out of a bridal magazine. I have never felt more beautiful in my life than I did wearing my wedding dress, and she took an already gorgeous dress and made the fit ideal for me. She listened closely to how I wanted to both look and feel in the dress and delivered perfectly. Her attention to detail was incredible, and she taught me details and design elements even I didn't know about my own dress to ensure that I both cared for and wore it perfectly. My bridesmaids are very grateful to her, too, for pointing out the sewn hook-and-eyes!

Everyone said the dress was stunning and looked like it had been designed for me. My mother used to make her own dresses and is very particular, and she was very impressed with Geri's alterations.

On top of her unquestionable skill, Gerri is warm, kind, professional, accommodating, and very communicative. I loved working with her. I will continue to take my other dresses to her in the future.

Can't recommend Gerri enough. She is so knowledgeable, my wedding dress is fantastic! You can't tell there has been any alterations made. She made the whole process easy and the alterations were done so fast. Definitely will be using in the future!

I had contacted Gergana about my purple ballgown wedding dress in December for my wedding end of January. Communication up front was great and we set a date for January. The appointment was very pleasant - Gergana is definitely an expert and saw immediately what needed to be done. Prices are fair and she communicated timelines up front. I also purchased a little hair clip from her, which she makes herself. The alterations were done perfectly and I'm now looking forward to our wedding next weekend - I'm sure my partner will love my dress!

I bought my dress online during lockdown and the skirt in particular was really not quite right. Gergana took my dress in for me and re-worked the skirt and the result was fabulous. It felt like a completely different dress and I felt great in it. I have added some photos from my wedding and a before photo for comparison.
