Anna Wood Bridal

I (the bride) took my family along to my appointment at Anna’s on the 1st of December. Growing up in Long Buckby I just had a feeling that my dress would be from Anna’s and I wasn’t wrong, this alone meant so much to me. We had already had a few appointments elsewhere but not one other bridal shop compared to Anna’s. From the moment Millie (makeup artist) met us at the door with a big smile on her face, to the minute we hugged Anna and Millie to say goodbye it felt like we were living a dream.
Anna has the most amazing/drop dead gorgeous dresses and she was extremely helpful, friendly and caring. She really wants to help you find your dream dress and that is something that we haven’t experienced previously, Anna made it so personal.
Anna also has a selection of bridesmaids dresses which are also gorgeous and I can’t wait to visit in the new year with my bridesmaids and try my dress on. Cannot recommend Anna Wood Bridal enough!

Saturday 1st December my granddaughter Millie had an appointment at Anna Wood Bridal. It was an amazing experience for us all. Anna is such a lovely person, never pushy, just passionate about her exquisite gowns and finding the right one for the bride to be. When that dress was found, we were all emotional including Anna. When we left, we felt that we had not just found the dress but found a new friend. Well done Anna, 5 stars!! xx

With only 10 months to plan our wedding I knew that I had to find my dress as soon as possible. Anna Wood Bridal was the first and only bridal shop I visited. With help from the lovely Alexandra I was able to find my dream dress. Alexandra made the experience very special for myself, my Mum and two sisters. In particular, Alexandra helped me to think outside the box, choosing a dress totally different from what I had in mind but perfect for me and my big day. I cannot recommend Anna Wood Bridal enough. I look forward to my upcoming dress fittings and most importantly wearing my beautiful dress on my wedding day!

Visiting Anna Wood Bridal was a fabulous experience! My bridal party and I really enjoyed our afternoon with Anna. I was able to try on lots of styles and dresses. Anna's service was wonderful, attentive and full of lots of advice. Highly recommend to all Brides looking for a wonderful dress searching experience.

From the initial consultation phone call with Anna to the bridal appointment, the experience was amazing. I could not fault Anna or Charlotte - they are both really friendly, personable and I really couldn't have asked for any one better to help me find my dress!

I was quite anxious about my first bridal appointment at Anna Wood Bridal due to the current situation and also about trying dresses on. As soon as my mum and I arrived, we were greeted at the door by Charlotte who is super lovely. She took us upstairs and into the main room, explained how the appointment would go and let us go in to the dress room to pick out some to try on. After looking through the beautiful selection Anna Wood Bridal has to offer, we were led back into the main room ready to try dresses on! After a quick sip of my bubbles, I tried on my first dress... and I absolutely fell in love with it! With my bridesmaids, friends and soon to be mother-in-law on video chat, we all discussed the dresses I tried on and just knew that the very first dress was the one. After many tears and a few more sips of bubbly, I said yes to the dress!

Charlotte made me feel instantly comfortable and I am honoured that I was her first ever bride, she is such an asset to Anna Wood Bridal and completely made my experience. I would highly recommend any future brides to book in for an appointment, Anna has built a lovely boutique and has been supportive from the moment we had our consultation call.

I was extremely anxious about finding/trying on dresses. I struggled with the idea that I would find anything to suit or flatter my shape. I felt sure that it would be a far from pleasurable experience.
Fantastically, I couldn’t have been more wrong!
Anna was truly lovely. Immediately putting me at ease, she was so friendly and really listened to all of my concerns. She expertly pointed me in the right direction and was able to show me so many different options, both with dresses and gorgeous accessories.
It really restored my confidence and it was a great fun experience.
The shop is beautiful and provides a wonderfully relaxed environment, that alongside the brilliant professional and friendly service from Anna lead to me saying ’Yes!’ to the most beautiful dress! 💕 Something that I never thought would happen on the first time of trying on dresses.
I really couldn’t recommend Anna’s gorgeous shop highly enough. Instead of walking away feeling deflated, I left feeling over the moon and with a grin like a Cheshire Cat! Amazing 😊🥰

Bridal shopping for me personally isnt one that I had always dreamt of or wanted to do.

Anna Wood was the first shop I came to - it couldn't have been better. She got my style and everything I envisioned for the day. Let me tell you, this is extremely rare.

She was attentive and really listened to exactly what I wanted. But most of all, I felt Anna to be really welcoming and genuinely complimented me to boost my confidence.

I visited about 7 bridal shops in total, and only in 2 of them did I try on dresses (one if these was Anna Wood)

Although, I didnt end up getting my dress from Anna, she went above and beyond.

I had no doubt that I would have got great service from start to finish here.

So, if you are thinking of visiting this lovely shop, then please do.

Charlotte and Anna were both absolutely lovely and I felt completely at ease during my time with them. They both offered great advice on the fitting of the dress, and having been to visit Jane their seamstress today, I can confirm she is also a delight. I’m so glad I bought my dress from such a wonderful team, and at a fantastic price too.

I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment at Anna Wood Bridal. Loved the Marilyn Monroe vibe! My consultant was friendly and professional; in these strange times with Covid 19 she still made the appointment feel relaxed, offering us drinks and allowing us to look through and personally select dresses I wanted to try. She also picked out for me a dress I would have never chosen myself, which looked lovely! I would recommend Anna Wood Bridal to all brides...it really has the personal touch.
