First and foremost, Kay is a wonderful person who commits not just to making you your perfect dress but she’s your friend for life once she’s made it. Twenty years on from my wedding dress and many dresses down the line for family and friends, Kay can be relied upon to make your dream a reality.

It was over twenty years ago that Kay designed and created my beautiful wedding dress. There was no doubt in returning to Kay when it was Prom dress time for my eldest.
Kay’s creative talents are simply unique and my daughter couldn’t have been happier with the stunning dress that Kay created.
We are currently in the process of fittings for my youngest daughter and the attention to detail regarding colour, style, fabric and design are truly wonderful.
You really are made to feel so welcome at each and every visit and it is pure joy to see the many creations that Kay is able to so naturally create.

I first met the lovely Kay, 20 years ago when I was looking for someone to design & make my wedding gown. Not only did I end up with the most beautiful gown, I also made a lifelong friend. Kay’s attention to detail & desire to make her clients wishes come true are second to none, add to that the fun and laughter you will have along the way and you will have an experience to cherish. Lavande has become my go to place, whenever I have a special event. My most recent visit to Kay was for a Mother of the Groom gown, I turned up with a picture and no idea where Kay would start, she tirelessly tracked down the most beautiful lace fabric, then dyed it to the colour of my choice, not content with that Kay spent hours cutting out the flowers to place them over the gown giving it a 3d effect, the result was amazing, I felt so special and comfortable in my dress & received so many compliments. I can’t recommend this wonderfully talented lady enough, you won’t be disappointed.

Well what can i say absolutely blown away with the dress Kay Lavande made for my daughter Darcey, what a superb service, the dress is amazing even better with Kay's finishing touches and professional service. The dress started off for Prom then Covid happened, Prom cancelled decided to use the dress for concerts, Kay even decorated a pair of shoes to match.
Kay puts you at ease with her beautiful personality, listens to your ideas, bounces ideas of her superb taste in fashion to you, worth every penny.

Amazing from start to finish!

With only a few months to make my Wedding dress, knowing exactly what I wanted, Kay made me the perfect dress with a mini me dress for my Flower Girl.
I would of never found 'the dress' in a shop. My dress is unique, no1 will ever have the same. My only downfall is, I wanted to wear it all the time haha.

Kay also made my mum the perfect dress to walk me down the Isle, very short notice, within weeks she'd made her a beautiful dress.

Nothing was to much trouble. I will be revisting for my nieces Prom Dress soon.

I can highly recommend Kay - she is such a lovely person and fantastic at what she does. She designed and made my Mother of the Groom dress for my sons wedding in 2019 and when my daughter announced her wedding next year, without any hesitation, I asked Kay to transform me again !
