Primadonna

My friend bought her prom dress from this shop but it needed altering. She found out that it could be done at the shop so she left it there to be altered and 3 months later she still hasn't received her dress and the staff keep offering her different dresses instead of the one she has already paid for. Bad service, but good quality dresses. I would only buy from here if altering isn't necessary.

I had a wedding dress, bridesmaids and flower girl dresses. I would advise anyone going here that when they buy a dress to pay for it there and then and take it there and then. Dresses they have are lovely and priced well, but when it comes to their organisation of ordering in a dress (they ordered my one wrong three times) they are a shambles, I chose another dress in the end a few weeks before the wedding day and took it there and then and sorted out the alterations with someone else because they still hadnt got it right 4 weeks before (july 2014 when my wedding was due and I ordered it in October 2013!!!) They booked in fittings for bridesmaids and would arrange for them to be down their shop, only to be told the dresses still werent ready over and over, so completely embarrassed by these people asking my bridesmaids to go there for no reason, and wasnt told at all not to take them down there as they all still werent ready, 4 days before they were still not finished and in the end we had to take them all as they were and privately get them altered (2 days before). They asked me to pick the flower girls dresses, which i did, they came back looking nothing like what I picked, they were basic white organza dresses with a sash! Their alterations werent ever right either and we also had to ask the other seamstress we got to alter them too 2 days before. Buy if the price is good and take it that day, get alterations and fittings somewhere else! Weddings are stressful enough without people doing this to you. Luckily it turned out ok thanks to the seamstress who helped us out in the end!
