A beautiful location the walks along the river are well maintained and biking is restricted by the boat and barges moorings. The area on both sides of the moored area are very well kept as this is also a residential location. The area is accessible for disabled people and nice and flat.. Parking ....well its basically where you can find a spot ...but well worth a visit.

This is a beautiful location on the River Medway and well worth a visit. This area is very well maintained and clean and tidy. The walk is lovely and is open to all. Biker's are welcome but there is a area next to the moored boats and barges where you must dismount. Disability access is good and the area is nice and flat. There is not any disabled facilities and parking is find a spot and good luck on that . Well worth a visit though.

East Farleigh Bridge overlooks a calming River that runs through it. One could always go Fishing in this River and while away a calm and relaxing day, especially in the summer.
Also East Farleigh has a lot of beautiful countryside to offer Nature Lovers. East Farleigh also leads into Yalding, which also has another Bridge overlooking a beautiful river were Anglers go fishing.
East Farleigh bridge is a breath of fresh air and worth a visit.

Haha. Maps asks me "how was East Farleigh bridge?". Er bridge like? 5 stars for its solid brickwork but it lost 2 stars for the roadworks and the inaccurate road closed ahead/diversion signs! Perhaps not the bridge's fault but you know the sort that give one diversion sign pointing you down the road to Tonbridge and then you never see another diversion sign. We ignored them and got where we wanted which was parking in the station car park. 😁

Lovely medieval stone bridge. River walks. Handy Medway Valley Line railway station. Good pub (The Victory) 150 yds up Farleigh Hill.

Came across our new discovery for ourselves- the East Farleigh Bridge!

Apparently, it is considered to.be the oldest bridge in Kent!

It is an outstanding example of medieval enterprise and architecture.

This ancient monument has Grade 1 listed status.

It was built in the 14th century. Unfortunately, no historical record exists of its construction.

We had also have a great walk after that alongside the river with lots of boats and swans.

The weather was also luckily very good with added extra pleasure to our trip.

Very popular area for people to come for a promenade, dog walkers, cyclists and runners.

Recommend it!

Nice to ride by on path from Maidstone. To tell truth you can walk or ride from Aylesford to Tonbridge a long the river if you want and East Farleigh Bridge is a nice stop and rest get your breath back and watch the boats go through the lock.
