Quite a cool little Bridge however you cannot get through if your car is particularly wide. On one side is England and on the other side is a Scottish border which is a great picture opportunity. It's a very Scenic area with lots of views and worth a visit.why not visit the local bee farm which is just up the road from this location and is also free.

Lovely place to visit. Great photo opertunities, unique experience being able to walk over such an iconic bridge. There are lovely walks along the riverside, and should you need a break, the Chain Bridge Honey Farm is just a short stroll from the bridge, where refreshments are available.

Absolutely Beautiful! To Think We Can Walk Over A Piece Of History. The views From Each Side Of The Bridge Of Breathtaking. Step Onto The Bridge In England, And Step Off Into Scotland At The Other Side. There Is A Beautiful Walk Along The River Side Toward Paxton House. The Trail Does End Along The Riverside, But Just A Quick Hop Over A Stile And Through The Wall Into A Beautful Wooded Area, The Path Continues To Take You Along The Riverside By Paxton House.

Quaint old 'modern' bridge, seems bigger than you expect it to from the photos. Looks so different in varying light at different times of the day. Maximum 1 vehicle at a time over the bridge, no more than 2 tonnes. If you are walking over the bridge when a car passes then you can really feel the bridge bouncing and rippling.

Great place. Would recommend you go as it's just great. Although the honey farm is a bit expensive and it definitely isn't a full day thing. It's a filler for a few hours before you move onto to other places such as Paxton House.

A lovely area with enjoyable walks on both sides of the river to Horncliffe, Paxton (via Paxton House Gardens), and all the way back to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Lots of wildlife around too which makes it more interesting for the little ones.

I mean, ultimately this is a bridge. It's pretty cool to see suspension bridges this old and in use. And one side is Scotland and the other is England so that's cool. Narrow and not good for heavy vehicles (2t+) but other than that all good. Nice surroundings and allowed me some good drone footage.

Not well known but the very first chain bridge built in 1820. Spans the River Tweed joining England with Scotland xx beautiful position and wonderful walks
