Went to visit this lovely town with the nieces and had a wonderful time watching the river. There's also an opportunity to go paddling in the quieter parts of the river as well as a playground nearby for the children.

Llangollen is a beautiful scenic place set along the river Dee with a railway & plenty of pubs, cafes & restaurants. Adults and children alike will enjoy this lovely Welsh village with plenty to see & do. 👍😃🏞

The bridge crosses the River Dee and was a nice place to visit on a sunny day. We watched people white water rafting and also saw the departure of a steam train from the station. Several places to eat and drink. Lovely little town.

Llangollen is a beautiful little town. The scenery is outstanding. There is so much to see and do. There are lots of local amenities. Shops restaurants and a visitor centre and small museum. It does get extremely busy especially on a sunny day so If travelling here set off early if you want to get a parking space. There is a canel and the river Dee. Plus lovely local countryside side. Well worth a visit If in North Wales.

It's been 20 years since visited Llangollen and it didnt disappoint. Lovely little town...enjoyed walk along canal to see Horseshoe Waterfall. Stroll over the bridge to shops, with array of Quant to modern. Lots of food + drink places. Safe park for picnics and family fun. Despite busy traffic lots of parking at good rates. Well worth a visit.

Stopped off at Llangollen on the way to Barmouth and really enjoyed the little Town. The Bridge was on form too with a patterned quilt all over it which we had great views from Deeside Cafe Bistro.

A proper old fashioned town, we travelled in on the canal which meant we were above the town
