Haven't been to this store before but Preston never seem to have stock so, another trip out 😷 it was quiet though as we arrived quite early. Found what we needed quickly, paid and left. I don't know how busy it gets later in the day. No faffing about. Didn't engage any staff as wasn't needed. Will return again no doubt 😊

Feel it is set out better than the Preston store feels a lot lighter

Called in for building materials, floor tiles and adhesive, we managed to buy everything needed for the job and was offered next day delivery.
The young sales girl at this store is Megs, she is very knowledgeable helpful and professional, she deserves a positive review 10 out of 10

Many items at racks don’t indicate prices, please rectify ASAP
Not many shop floor helpers to help when required.

Brilliant service, we were really pushed for time so I rang in advance and a friendly staff member got our order out really for when we arrived. Despite the website saying they had stock of what we wanted online, they didn't in reality, so they reduced the price of a similar product for us by quite a significant amount because they admitted it was a mistake on there end and we had travelled quite a distance. A brilliant range of homeware, paint, DIY, wood products etc. I would definitely recommend it, because from what I've bought from them I've found them to be incredibly reasonably priced as well compared to other DIY companies.

Hi, visited Wickes store at Chorley yesterday and I must say how disappointed I was on several counts. Firstly on visiting the bathroom display area I noticed that despite it being 2 weeks since the whole area has been refurbished it still has empty areas and no prices on the items on display. Secondly so many items around the store I noticed had no price shown and lastly when I had to ask a staff member for the price of an item although he only had to walk ten yards his attitude at being taken away from his other task was plain to see. I generally prefer Wickes to some other big names but following on from this visit think I will give my custom to more accommodating and professional store.
