Only wanted a ofcut but the warehouse staff were so unhelpful.and rude I just walked out of the place Iwas so disgusted in there response.
Thought about going to the management but they probably have the same attitude.

I had a solid-wood kitchen worktop offcut for which I needed two simple cuts to make shelves. Rang 4 or 5 companies, went to B&Q and none was interested because I didn't get the wood from them even though I was willing to pay £20-£30.
Called here and they asked for just a £5 and did it immediately.
I was so pleased I offered them more but Mick, the guy that did the carrying and the cutting, wouldn't hear of it - "a box of teabags would be nice... we all drink tea here". Duly delivered!

Can't recommend enough. Ordered chippings this morning and they were delivered same day. Always helpful and give advice if needed. A good, reliable local firm.

I needed a piece of wood of a certain profile and length for my back gate. Everything was straightforward and the price reasonable. Would use Howarth Timber again.
