I bought Wickes own brand paint that was labelled as 'Chalk White' which turned out to be 'Concrete Grey'. The manager of the store, Lewis was dismissive and argued that because I opened the paint tin, I was not due a refund. After we saw the pictures, he first argued that wasn't the paint I used, and then also argued I had painted an entire wall - therefore I couldn't get a refund. In the world of Amazon - one must take the quality assurance that comes from customer feedback seriously - at the peril of lost future business. Photos attached of their 'Chalk White'. I have since had to paint over with 2 coats of another paint to mask this travesty. Basically - don't bother buying their paint, go somewhere where they honour the customer and their honest feedback (no one serious is trying to save £20 on a paint refund - such a bizarre position!)

I've always loved going to Wickes because the picture that I took that's attached to this review is of a very hard-wearing pine shelf built from wood sold by Wickes. Got the screws there too. Other tools were purchased from various eBay sellers however the bulk of the tools I got were from their partner Toolstation which I believe is in every single branch of Wickes nationwide, very handy.

Loving the new Wickes at Chadwell Heath refurbishment changes. Before it was like a builders yard and now it's much more customer friendly and so easy to find what you want. I'll be making it a regular shop stop now.

Warning i purchased a kitchen from this store including full installation services. Nearly 2 years on I do not have a fully operational kitchen. No accountability from this retailer or staff at this branch that sold me this kitchen and service. Numerous independent reports I am yet to reach a resolution. Do not be fooled by the sales team once your money is taken there is absolutely no aftersales and no support. I would not wish this situation on anyone so strongly advise you not to purchase a kitchen from Wickes.

Only giving 1 star as won’t let me give 0 star.

Wanted to exchange item that was wrong size and had receipt but lady manager wouldn’t exchange, very aggressive and rude! Won’t be using wicked ever again! Do yourself a favour and stick to b&q the real professionals

Worse customer services I have ever come across. Waited for a refund and was told manager said they are not sure when they can come to the tikka to authorise a refund. Thought it was a prank that’s how bad the whole ordeal was. They have a bunch of new teenage recruits who have no idea bless them.

Ops manager wouldn't honour a discount we were expecting, and wouldn't arrange for home delivery, argued the point with us and with the Barking store, they were completely unhelpful. Staff in this store were generally surly and disinterested in helping us despite trying to make a significant purchase. Took our money elsewhere.
