Disappointing DIY store that is clearly in need of some TLC. Unwelcoming entrance that needs repair and nothing to invite you in. Kitchen and bathroom section needs refurb and has bright yellow / pink walls. Further you get into the shop the tidier it gets and is easy to navigate. Couldn’t find anyone to assist on my visit so no idea on customer service.

Would have been five star but when I asked one of the staff location of interior doors , not a word spoken and the grim face guessing he didn't want to be there! But staff at the bathroom area 10/10 very helpful.

Apparently Wickes do not give advice! Been a loyal customer as I always appreciated the helpful advice from the friendly staff at Cheltenham Wickes..Came in this morning and asked the young woman at the counter for roofing felt but they were out of stock. I asked if she could recommend an alternative product. She replied "We can't give recommendations" immediately followed by "and we can't give advice either". I walked straight out the door and bought from Screwfix instead. Great example of how unhelpful staff can loose business and reputation. Still give it 4 stars because the other staff are usually willing to make an effort.

Well presented store, good bathroom showroom. Surveyor arrived for home visit over an hour late. The promised 3D plan and quote never arrived so we will be spending our £10,000 elsewhere.

Please avoid this place. I ordered kitchen back in May
1. Missing bits (had to chase many times and finally after nearly 3months I received missing part and it’s damaged.So have to wait again for replacement.
2 designer ordered and charged us for items which is not suit our kitchen wrong item. After I contact she told me that I need to bring it back and she’s reorder. I told come and take it back because is nothing to do with me so why I should waste my time and travel cost because I been sold sold incorrect item.Asked for refund and told that I don’t wanna waste my time with this anymore.
3. After been in store for my missing item twice and asked manager how come you sell me items which you don’t have . Answer is : oh it happens all the time.
Worst experience I have in my entire life. I lost money already and still have to chase them for god knows how long.Please people avoid them if you don’t want to waste time and money.they messed up but leaving you to deal with it.

If I could give minus stars here I would - somewhere around -50 stars. Agreed bathroom design and contract September 21, meant to start March 22. Installer #1 couldn't produce an estimate for extra works - we gave him six months to do so. Was promised installation would start June 22, "OK" we thought. That didn't happen. Installer #1 replaced by Wickes with Installer #2 who promised the job would start w/c 26th September 22 (54 weeks post agreeing contract). This was meant to be day 2. Their van apparently broke down. Wickes meant to be project managing it... not happening, they don't do anything. I have to ring them (multiple times), then go in store, work out when our person is actually in, go back then and then still get fobbed off. They have taken hours of my life trying to get them to do their job. If it wasn't that we had a back garden full of bathroom stuff (under a canopy we've borrowed so there is a time limit on it) and more stuff arriving tomorrow (allegedly), we would, even after all this time, cancel and walk away. Avoid like the plague - seriously, they have zero intention of keeping the promises they make you at the design and contract meeting.

Getting a quote for a new bathroom for mum, not many staff about to help, but once I caught someone, she was very efficient and friendly. Booked in for measure up and store visit for design and pricing.
