Delivered the wrong items so I sent the driver back, was told that he'd be back the same day with the right ones, never happened. Called customer service who couldn't get hold of the depot but said they would escalate it for a call back to me. That never happened. Phoned customer service again on monday who told me the delivery was scheduled for a weeks time, what!? Told them that was not good enough and asked to reschedule for the next day. Got another text message the next day to say delivery would be with me between 10am and 4pm. No delivery arrived and no phone call to me. Called customer service again, said delivery was on it's way and I should get delivery by 6pm. That never happened, and still no phone call.

Also during this time frame I had customer service hang up on me after waiting 15 minutes to get through to them.

I phoned customer service again the next morning to find out why my delivery never arrived, they told me the store never sent it out on Tuesday despite telling me they would and sending me a text message to say it was on the way,.. they then told me that they can reschedule these delivery again but it would have to be on Friday.

I told them no, this is not good enough as it's already 4 days overdue and I want a refund so that I can go to the store direct and pick it up myself... they issued a refund. - then I went over to my nearest store who had the flooring I wanted in stock, I told them what I've been through and that I'd like to pick up the flooring from them in person, however they were unable to give me the 15% discount I was given online, despite checking my cancelled order and seeing the price I paid originally...

Also worth mentioning, I ordered 3 packs of underlay for click and collect and Wickes palmed me off with 1 opened, squashed and damaged packet. Plus I also ordered 2 large wooden gates for click and collect only to find out when I got there that one of them was broken!

So, Wickes have screwed me around for 5 days, tried to palm off broken products to me, I had to pick up the flooring myself in the end and now I'm £60 worse off for it all!

REALLY not impressed by Wickes. - I will be telling everyone I know about my experience and advising them all to avoid Wickes like the plague from now on.

Some of these reviews make me pmsl. Half of them are entitled, and the other half of them either leave out important information about their complaint, or just make stuff up to make the store sound bad because they're angry. If people only understood what was going on behind the curtain, maybe they'd leave some nicer reviews.....or none at all.

Bottom line is, if you're nice to them, they're nice to you. Don't walk in there like they owe you anything, because they don't.

I wanted some feather edge boards. Online said Merton had 12 packs of 10 on stock. Click and collect link not working this may have something to do with covid19. So I tried to ring. The phone just rang and rang with no answer or message. So I thought I would just go to the shop. The shop wasn't too busy. There was sanitiser available near the door and a one way system inside. I asked a member of staff where the feather edge board was and he was friendly and happy to show me. There was a sensible social distancing queue for the tills considering the shop is quite small. The lady on the till was also friendly and wished me a good day. So on balance I was pleased with my shopping experience.

Got everything I needed and also signed up for Wickes Trade Pro and got 10% right there. Very helpful staff. Thank you for your help

Staff were extremely helpful.helped me load trolley and helped me put materials in van.only negative was they didn't have everything I needed.

Very good lady always greets me going in , I feel the warmth . Plus I get the feel like those small DIY shops of old as she always helps ,like today she got her colleague to get a 4" filler knife for me from the stock room Five Stars.

The lady on the checkouts was excellent, well trained well mannered very helpful and very positive, she deserves promotion and elevation to a better job. I visited 3 times yesterday and each time she was great.
