Disappointed to have to cancel order but don't appreciate having my time wasted.
The day it was being delivered - I'd travelled to Evesham especially it being our holiday home - could track the delivery on Google map the driver went straight by the turning I'd given the lady on the fone a few miles out of his way but did eventually get to us.
Started putting the shed together and 2 vital pieces were missing from the roof and back section. Within 2hrs of delivery I foned Wickes who said they'd send an email to Keter the makers who would get back in a few hrs. Later foned again another email was send and was told it would be 24hrs before Keter would reply. Foned next day another email was sent and told it would be 48hrs before Keter would reply.
Asked each time for Keters number so I could fone them myself was told twice couldn't have it the 3rd time of calling was given it but is an Israeli company and a public holiday at that time maybe no-one would answer the fone. I called spoke to a very helpful man there gave the numbers of the missing pieces he said would send by courier but could take up to a week.
So the shed was half built we had put tarpaulin over as the weather was so bad with heavy rain. Also would have to come back whenever the courier bought the pieces and how much notice would they give.
So foned Wickes again speak to a manager to make a complaint was told she'd send an email to a manager who would get back to me in 48hrs.
THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED
I'm very very disappointed with Wickes.
The parts did arrive but yes 1 wk later I stayed on to take delivery.
Shame because it's a really nice shed (brown plastic) waterproof and looks good.
Wickes customer services and told us he would let us know what was happening. Four days went by… went back in to store and he had not heard anything. The level of customer service is an absolute joke and I honestly wish we had gone elsewhere for the entire suite. Two weeks on and the brackets still haven’t arrived - we got some from Amazon in the end! Wouldn’t recommend Wickes to anyone thinking of a new bathroom. We’re so glad we didn’t get our kitchen with them!
