Quite helpful I normally walk around looking like I don't have a clue and they always seem go of at putting you in the right direction. Good range of products not as good as The other massive DIY Suoerstore just opened in folkstone but it's local so what more can yiu ask for !!

4/5 stars during the week, but definitely 1 if you go on a Saturday morning. During the week, the service is great: people are very helpful, show you what you need to get and give good advice. I'm working on a project at the moment and might not have got it done without the advice I received here. Top service. However, sometimes I have to go on a Saturday morning and the experience is completely different. The people working inside hardly know how to work the computers, so simply buying something from the shelf can be a complicated procedure. Outside, staff vaguely point you in the right direction for the item you're after and then disappear. Definitely worth a trip Monday to Friday, but shop elsewhere if you need something on a Saturday.

The most expensive Builders Merchant in the UK. 2 weeks hire belle mixer £242.87. They are £320 brand new out of Machine Mart. Will not be using ever again, walked out of one in Croydon 8 years ago when told double seal inspection cover £175.00 elsewhere £45.00. Liberty takers!

Question.... If you are an older customer, do you deliberately get messed around and receive extremely poor service from the Dover Branch. Order never arrived today as planned and when queried why and when next to expect a delivery, response was "no idea".

Really good service, they had everything I wanted for my job. They helped me out with some technical advice and the prices were much better than they used to be.
