Visited Huws Gray Gaerwen today to purchase some skirting boards. I just wanted to post a review to say how impressed I was with the service at Huws Gray Gaerwen and the product quality. The gentleman on the checkout / helpdesk and the two gentlemen in the warehouse were very friendly and helpful. I wanted to have a quick look at the skirting boards before deciding to purchase them. Absolutely no problem. The skirting boards were stored horizontally in ideally designed shelving units. No chance of warping when stored in the Huws Gray warehouse. I wasn't sure what the product would look like it being a 70% pine mix as I'm planning to varnish them rather than paint. I am very pleased with the quality of the material. They look like 100% pine. They are nice and thick and the architrave is well shaped. The skirting boards will be a joy to cut to shape and install. I will need to do the skirting boards justice and get my cutting angles right! The warehouse gentlemen were most helpful in making a couple of product suggestions and helping me load my car. A well deserved high recommendation from me.
