The best tile showroom in the area. We were looking for tiles for my parents’ new bathroom and kitchen and were struggling to find nice designs, this place has a huge selection! The staff were great with both helping us to choose and work out the quantities needed. We had to take some back and change to a smaller tile and they were happy to exchange them for us. Special thanks to Georgina for being so helpful.... great service all round.

I am not one to write negative review- however this store in Chadwell Heath Freshwater RD has extremely poor customer service. Staff are lazy and will literally ignore you like you don’t exist. I think the whole team needs training as most staff don’t want to help or know nothing about their products. I will write to the ombudsman about staff behaviour and how they try to scam money off you. Absolutely disaster store! Please go elsewhere rather than feeling neglected at this store. I feel terrible the way they treated me, some are just blunt racist and they just don’t care.

Parked up. All of a sudden security guard rushes out all aggressive saying this is a staff car park and I cant park here. Literally seconds later a customer comes out with his goods and gets in to the car parked next to me. I question the security guard and he says again I cant park here. Then storms off. I got back in my car and saw him peeking from around the corner next to the gate to see if I went. When i saw properly the staff car park is behind a gate? Not the 30 or so bays right outside the store... Sort your security out awful

Very dissappointed I placed an order for over £500 paid £25:delivery for next day delivery they could not give an estimated time of delivery bearing in mind my address is less than 5 minutes away from store. I called the store in the morning to enquire a time of delivery, they said between 10am 1pm. I called again at 1.30pm to ask they said it would be before 5pm. I waited in all day for a delivery that I paid for which is within 5 minutes from my home.If I had known this I would have collected it

very odd experience. as soon as I step out of my car, a man in a high-vis jacket screams at me from across the car park and aggressively makes his way over to me accusing me of visiting the gym across the road. when I explain I'm doing no such thing he walks off without a word. won't be returning again

Overpriced retailer, don’t waste your time.. Their back office staff are archaic and haven’t a clue about construction

Extremely rude security parson.
Just 0 star.
No customer was in the store. But he was following and checking me all the time. Also he asked me to check my recipt and in my bag when I was leaving there.I came here always, but never come back again. you are losing lot of customers.

Came here for the first time last week to buy some tiles. Had no idea what to expect as I'd never been to an N&C store before. They have a really good selection of general tools and materials, but what struck me the most was the friendly, family-like atmosphere of the place. The employees were knowledgable, interested, super nice and helpful, not only with customers but with each other as well. They all came to one another's help, even if it wasn't in their section, and there was a lot of friendly and humorous banter going round. I left with the impression that this must be a really nice place to work for. The staff seemed genuinely happy to work there, which I can't say of any of the other well-known DIY stores where employees seem to hide from the customers until it's home time. This will become my first point of call for anything DIY from now on.
